she has the symptoms of diabetes... but only blood test can tell
Anyway do not worry: even if she's diabetic, she'll have a normal life. You'll be taught about what to do and everything will be alright.
Do not believe what tz7z27v wrote: that makes no sense and it's absolutely false (well: actually the fact that animals get filled with chemicals and hormones may be true, but that has nothing to do with diabetes!)

its very much possible. =]]

The only way to confirm a diagnosis of diabetes is to do a blood test. You might get some more evidence by asking her how she feels after she eats candy, or how not eating for a few hours affects her.

well if she is diabetic she should take garlic cloves which are good for diabetes and have a teaspoon of fish oil a day and stop eating meat except for fish meat the meat thats on the market today gets injected with chemicals and hormones so the animals can get bigger faster and when she consumes the meat it has a bad effect on the body and isn't good for diabetic people

You can check for keytones. If her blood sugar is high then she will have sugar and protein in her urine. To check, go to the dug store and ask for keytone strips then have your daughter pee on the keytone stick and match it to the colors on the side of the vial. Anything about negative could indicate diabetes. Thirst is a major sign of diabetes! Have her only drink water with a touch of salt to prevent dehydration. Don't let her drink milk, regular soda, any juice or sugar drink!
Best of luck!

The best way is to go for blood glucose tests which will give you a clear picture that whether you daughter is diabetic or not.

The earlier diabetes is dignosed the better it can be treated without creating severe complications.
Hope for the best.

Like you, I also knew someone who was a diabetic. He told me that he found this e-book online that just covers everything you need to know about diabetes. Check it out

Diabetes runs in my family as well. EVERYONE on my mothers side has it. However my sister & I are pre-diabetic (like my mother started out)- Instead of high blood sugar, we get low blood sugar causing us to get sick a lot.

I would say have her start a blood sugar diary. Take her blood sugar with a blood glucose meter before she eats in the morning, after she eats & so on with every meal of the day. Also write down what she eats & test her when shes feeling particularly ill. Normal blood sugar, while fasting, is 80-100 (of coarse it will be higher after she eats).

You should also have a doctor give her a glucose tolerance test to see how her insulin levels react (helps determine diabetes & hypoglycemia).

Good luck^__^
