Yes, you can as long as its not aids. The other ones like warts, herpes, ect.. you can still donate. Scarry to me!!!!!!!!!!!

No, you cannot donate if you have an STD, but that doesn't mean that half of your school has an STD of some sort.

no you can't but the doctors also deny anybody that has any symptoms of a cold, if they have had body piercings/tattoos in the past 6 mths, traveled outside of the country, etc...

Depends on the STD. They screen for syphilis and HIV/AIDS, so they wouldn't take your blood if you had those. Otherwise, I don't think they test for it. I think you should ask the Red Cross or the local blood bank for actual numbers. On any particular day, about half of the population can't give blood, because of colds, the flu, travel abroad, taking aspirin and other things, and perhaps that is what this person meant.
