The doctor may start you on tetracyclene (or a generic version of it). It is an oral antibiotic. Acne is caused by bacteria. The antibiotic fights the bacteria. Take your parents with you. They can consent to you taking the medication.

Accutane is also a good cure for acne. Be sure and ask your doctor about it.

Good Luck!!!!!

Get your parents to go to the clinic with you & get the meds :) Also if you can find it, try WHO's Aromist and Fancl, they're really gentle and effective.

Have you tried Dove Exfoliating Cream?

I have the same problem as you and have tried just about everything, ever since I started washing with Dove Exfoliating Cream it has reduced my acne, not fully cleared though. You can buy it from Boots and online http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail...

Hope it helps

natural way is get an aspirin and then dip it into water then literally wipe the aspirin to you face, then rinse with warm water, come back to me for progress, ur face wont heal overnyt but u'll see some improvement... i hope that helped! and also toothpaste! it really does work!

No one is too young for acne medications! There is even an infantile acne which can be treated and occurs in children under 1 year old. There is an age issue with SOME antibiotics used for acne, which cannot be given to children under the age of 12 years. Even then there are other alternatives.

Treatment for acne consists of degreasers which are first line. If these don't work local antibiotic lotions are often useful and if the acne is more severe antibiotics are given by mouth.

My daughter had bad acne in her early teens, the doctor tried a few different creams and medication for it but by the time she was 16 it had all cleared up. Sometimes using all different creams can be wrong as it doesn't get a chance to work before you move onto try the next one. I hope the doctor can give you something to help, and remember its not whats on the outside but whats on the inside that counts, I'm sure you are a beautiful person on the inside. Good Luck

hi iknow what ur going through. i went to the doctor..im 16 by the way..its humiliating to have spots and it destroys your confidence. i went to the doctor and got a cream called duac once daily...its no where as invasive as a tablet and it works wonders...i have virtually no spots and it only costs 30euro in the pharmacy so good luck ...if u give it 3 weeks your confidence will be growing out of your ears
