Diabetes during pregnancy?!
Question: My Dr wants me to get a diabetes test done and I am 23 weeks pregnant...Are gestational diabetes like regular diabetes? I am a bit worried about this since type 2 diab. runs in my family. I have been trying my best to steer clear of junk food (I have a really bad sweet tooth!) but have also given in quite a few times to cookies, etc during my pregnancy...is that going to contribute to me getting this form of diabetes?? How serious is it??
