Consider getting a German Shepherd. I have one, she's a great friend & companion, totally sweet, but she looks "scary" and she's 100 lbs so I feel safe walking alone with her.

yeah either you've got a stoker or your paranoid. No need to explain the causes of being paranoid. Just get a friend to hang out with you or stay in a well lit public place until you feel safe (if it's that bad).
