Fortunately, ringworm is fairly easy to diagnose and treat.
If you do have ringworm, antifungal medication. A topical ointment or cream usually takes care of skin infections, but ringworm of the scalp or nails requires oral antifungal medication.
Topical antifungal drugs containing miconazole (Daktarin, Micatin & Monistat), clotrimazole, terbinafine (Lamisil), butenafine and tolnaftate (Tinactin),available without a prescription, are used to clear up the infection. Pyrithione zinc, found in Head and Shoulders shampoo, is a very effective treatment for ringworm on the scalp and can be used as a body wash to assist in overall treatment.
Write down these names and go to Wal-Mart It is cheep there and just as good.
They had medicine that will clear them right up. Go in and see a doctor ASAP

go to the drugstore and get an over the counter treatment for athlete's foot. Ringworm is really a fungus so an antifungal medication will work on it. That is what I used on my son. It will take a 1-3 weeks to clear up depending on the size and progression of the fungus.
I had a friend in high school that got ringworm a couple times... No kidding, he would pee on a Q-tip, and rub the q-tip on the ringworm. Healed it up every time.
