Fight the germs. Hand washing, clean the phone after he uses it, the door knobs and try not to kiss him on the mouth as often. Sounds over the top, but you only have to do this for a week. You can also check into Vit. C, it helps boost your immune system. Check with the doc first.

eat some chiken :)

in one glass of hot tea, add half of squeesed lemon and a table spoon honey. at least three times a day. it works

I would check carefully into the safety of these herbs during pregnancy, but ginger tea works *wonders*.

Grate fresh ginger root and steep for about 10 minutes. Add lemon and honey. Make it as strong or weak as you wish--it will be spicy.

Avoid your hubby's tissues, hands, the air a few feet around him... ;).

Another great fix to prevent any illness is organic apple cider vinegar "with the mother." A small bottle is about $4 and all you do is shake it up, mix it with some hot water and honey, and chug. Takes getting used to! Do this twice a day. The idea is that it resets your body's pH, and that any virus cannot live in an acidic environment--so gargle with it, too! Be sure to rinse well after, as it can erode tooth enamel.

Other than that, go to your natural foods store and see if any remedies there could help you out.

Please feel better and enjoy your shower!

Prevention
These steps can help you stay healthy, even at the height of flu season:

?Wash your hands. Thorough and frequent hand washing is the best way to prevent many common infections. Scrub your hands vigorously for at least 15 seconds, rinse well and turn off the faucet with a paper towel. Or use an alcohol-based hand gel containing at least 60 percent alcohol.

?Eat right, sleep tight. A poor diet and poor sleep both lower your immunity and make you more vulnerable to infections. A balanced diet that emphasizes fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and small amounts of lean protein works best for most people. On the other hand, the amount of sleep needed for a healthy immune system varies from person to person. In general, adults seem to do best on seven to eight hours of sleep a night. Older children and teens need more rest
