Is popcorn a good snack if you have diabetes?????!
Question: it depends on the diabetic- my husband can eat a very small amount and be fine- because of the fiber- to much of anything is not a good thing- and to CALI- your answer is very rude. You must not have any idea how horrible diabetes can be, or you would not make a comment like that. Go ahead and say I have no sense of humor, but I have a husband who struggles with diabetes everyday- and it is no laughing matter.

no
candy. soda. cake. pie. and a spoon full of sugar to make the medicine go down!
Yes - if you make it fresh yourself, using a high quality cooking oil (olive oil). Microwave popcorn is full of trans-fats and other nasty stuff.
YES,it's LOW in carbs and it has a lot of fiber.
Anything that has fiber is going to sit in your system a long time and prevent your blood sugar from spiking. So, popcorn is an okay choice. However, something containing oatmeal, whole grain, or brown rice would be a better choice. Try an apple (fiber) with peanut butter (protein).
I love popcorn and this is what I do...
The single serving microwave bags. Make sure they're the fat free ones! And then have a bag of popcorn. If you need some butter on it try some Smart Balance, melted. Yes it will look a little watery once melted but trust me honey it tastes just fine. Just make sure to read those labels and you'll be just fine
Popcorn is a good choice if eaten in the right quanities and cooked properly. Try to keep the butter under control. Lay off the Salt and enjoy.
Too many carbs
