Vinegar doesn't really "heal" the sunburn. It only takes the STING out of it.

Sounds like you have a sunburn that now has tiny water blisters. These come from the skin drying out and then the moisture in the skin tries to get out of the sunburn skin and it can't so it forms water blisters. Take a nice hot bath - lay down and soak. The water blisters will pop in the water and from gently rubbing them. That is the only way they are going to heal. Put something like Noxema or Unguentine on them so they will be antiseptic and heal.

Don't understand the question about covering them up? You should put any makeup or really anything on the skin that is sunburn until it heals. Keep it clean ~ no bacteria.

it soothes the skin, use a cloth soaked with it and then as it evaporates off the skin it relieves the burning.

umm.. not sure where you heard this... Here's my thoughts.... vinegar is an acid. Acid on open skin burns like hell.... ever gotten a squirt of cirtus fruit juice in a wound.... ouch! Now, I'm not positve, but I think that putting vinegar on a sunburn with open blisters will burn you and cause tremendous pain. I don't recommend it. Get pure aloe vera. If you cant find pure aloe vera, but one of those sunburn products with aloe vera in it. You have to let your body heal on its own... the aloe vera is the most soothing thing you can put on it.
Next time wear sunscreen SPF 30 or higher!
