My mom has lung cancer, its all over in her chest,why is her face yellowish look!
Question: my mom has had pet and ct scan, cancer is all over chest area, the cancer isnt showing up anywhere else at the moment, cancer is in her blood too.

blood is filtered by the liver, so if it is in her blood, it is also in her liver. When the liver is affected it can't filter the toxins so the skin takes on a yellowish cast.
Could be jaundice. Are the whites of her eyes yellow????
its jaundice,her liver isnt functioning correctly, and i am so sorry you and your mom are going through this...
I am so sorry, I went thru this with my mom in the 90's she also had that yellowish tint, to her skin, it was the liver, I ho;e you have your mom with the visiting nurses!! they truly are angels, and are most helpful!!! I hope your mom is not suffering, mine didn't, the visiting nurses keep her pain-free.
I am so sorry for you and your mother.....its hard...my husband has cancer too and its so difficult living with it.
