Why does sunburnt skin stay warm?!

Question: I noticed that everytime I'd go to the beach, afterwards the sunburnt parts were the only ones that stayed warm. Can anyone help a curious mind?

Sunburn is an injury to the skin caused by damage from ultraviolet light.

The skin reacts to the injury be becoming inflamed. Inflammation is characterized by increased blood flow to the affected area. The increased blood flow to the area gives you a subjective sense of heat in that area. The area may also be warmer to the touch for the same reason.

Tip: The fresh gel from the leaves of an aloe vera plant is an excellent natural topical remedy to help the skin heal and to alleviate your symptoms.

Same thing that makes it all red - blood going to that area of the skin to help it heal.

Right, I'm not very good at explaining ...
But it's because the heat gets trapped underneath your skin which causes sun burn. The heat then tries to escape causing your skin to be hot. It's just where the heat is trapped

the blood is going to the same spot and the capilaries amd skin are burned use solarcaine
