Athlete's Foot Advice?!

Question: I am a ballet dancer (I spend countless hours in pointe shoes and ballet shoes), and just recently I've noticed my feet are peeling and are really itchy. I've been pretty lazy about getting any kind of medication at the store, and right now I'm stuck with itchy feet. I've been putting aloe on them alot, and it got rid of the dryness and peeling, but it doesn't heal it. Does anyone know of something (around the house) I can put on my feet until I get to the store?

Also, I've noticed that after taking a warm shower, my feet start itching more and it only seems to make it worse. Is it bad to have them in warm water?

Pour Epsom's salt into warm water and soak your feet for about 15-20 minutes(or until water gets cold) and then pat dry. If you have Vaseline, rub a thick coat all over your feet(don't rub all the way in) then put socks on over your coated feet and go to sleep with them on. This may feel yucky and gooey, but by morning you should have soft, un- itchy feet. When you get to the store, buy "ting" or Lotrimin.

try peroxcide 1/2 mixed in 1/2 water 2xs a day
at night put on athletes feet medications
also put powder in shoes

STOP SCRATCHING!! The scratching only spreads it and makes it worse. There are a ton of athlete foot creams out there that arent too expensive but you should just get the spray stuff. It works fast and it feels really good. It gives you instant relief while its healing. Make sure you dry your feet really well after getting out of the shower because the moisture will make the athletes foot worse.
