scary! THIS IS SERIOUS! if what you say is true....i'd be getting treatment asap and then going back to those who told you not to worry with a big, fat mal/practrice suit! unreal!

I don't know if they said it was okay then it must be.

If your HR was 170 you would have a pacer right now. A person cannot sustain 170 for 6 months.

Edit: You may have had a run of paroxysmal tachycardia at 170bpm but they would not have let you out of a medical facility with a sustained HR of 170. They would have at least used a beta blocker or some other type of drug to lower the rate.

There are conditions such as POTS that cause short runs of tachycardia. But the HR normalizes between episodes.

Sorry, you must be mistaken.
