Question: I just found out yesterday from a friend that the MMR shot for kids. (mumps measles shot) It has been linked to autizium in kids. I was told when i take my child for the shot to have it sperated in to three sperate shots then the one. If the doc refuses to do this then to get a new one. I dont have to worry about the shot yet but was wondering how many others have heard this and if they had had the shots boken up for their kid.

No it hasn't! That rumor has been going around for years and there is no evidence that one has anything to do with the other. The MMR vaccine has been a great boon to the health and well-being of our children.
the theory, and it was only a theory ,has been discounted . It has been discvered nto to cause this.you are safe and breaking it up would not do any good anyway if it did. the MMR does not cause autism.
I am a mother of three children and have heard this myself. All of my children have only had one at a time anyway one every year for three years. It depends on the dr I guess. The sickening part to me is hearing that these doctors administered 7 shots in one day to these poor children ( the 3 MMR and 4 other vaccines) To me that would have raised a red flag and would have me concerned about drug interactions.
That is an urban legend. It is created when MD's started diagnosing autism instead of mental retardation. Statistic phenomenon that is rejected by modern medicine. Vaccines are safe. The risk of getting either of these diseases.
