More kidney stone ?'s.....?!
Question: Hi all, I just at my Ct looked at, and I have 4 kidney stone in one kidney. One is 9mm, the other "bigger" one is 4. Does anyone know if a doctor will let me try to pass the stones? Or in that situation do they usually do surgery, especailly becasue there are so many in one kidney....Im just trying to figure out what to expect. Please those with insight, experience this would really be helpful.

The stones are rather big + multiple, and will need some kind of intervention. Such big stones are difficult to pass by medical treatment. Chances of their being stuck in the ureters are high, that may cause more damage.
Depending on what procedures are available in your area, PCNL or ECSW methods may help. Otherwise open nephrolithotomy can be done.

i'm not sure what 2 expect but i know an old remedy to help prevent stones, ihave had minor stones in the past and this worked for me, go to ur nearest grocier and get some fresh beets and boil them then drink the water warm or cold ur preference do this once every couple weeks or once a month it works for me nyway
