Asthma flaring up!? 3 stars!?!
Question: I have a very severe allergy to Citric Acid. I was on Asthminex for about one year, but stopped because my nose was so plugged from the side affects I lost quality of life. Now my atshma is flaring up, (after 3 months without asthminex) but I can sort of breathe through my nose. What should I do? (Neti-pots don't work)

Is it asthma or allergies,It sounds more like allergies,I have an allergic reaction to critics acids,ground beef too many to name.I ask them to just put me in a bubble,perfumes,cooking of pork,gasoline,also too many to name..I ,Benadryl,Sudefed,I also use Saline mist,o help prevent flare ups as I stay away from causes,sometimes I cheat and eat something so I use Flonase,Claritin when extreme...There are sometimes when you just must listen and don't eat or drink things you shouldn't if you are going to do this then you need to take what is given to you as directed try one of the ones I take first ask you doctor in case you are allergic to that medication....Summer is coming I am begging GOD to HEAL me from the respiratory drama. I twice daily take my asthma Pump/Advair/Saline or Nasonex day and night If I feel stuffy I use the Saline mist at any time.I pray one of these meds mentioned helps you,Don't forget to prayfor full Healing.......Blessings of Healing/Corrections....Blessings Yahoo
did you ever try singulair it works wonders for my son.
I use zyretec and nasacort. They really help me.
