My skin burns?!
Question: My skin, all around my body, burns and stings with itchiness... particularly the areas where my clothes are touching (lately, my shoulders have become all dry and itchy, however my arms are smooth and not itchy at all!) My neck has started to become a little dry too.. it was not always like this, just recently. It's really embarrassing because when I'm in public, I need to scratch myself everywhere.. it looks strange when I do it.

it might be the laundry soap or softner you are using......did you recently chage your brand that you buy?
what about your soap for bath or shower? buy something different lately?
also, could be an allergic reaction to something but, i dont know how long this has been going on!
Think about lotions or body products that you may have been using...bath salt, sprays, ...first suspect would be laundry detergent or softner because it saturates your clothing....also, if you are wearing short sleeves this may explain why your arms dont itch? idk......add some more details and ill read it.

Step away from the fire. Actually, do you know if your water (the one you use for bathing) has too much Clorox? I had that happen to me for a few months and I ended up filtering my bath water.
Also consider if you have an allergy to your soap.
