Actually, my mother suffered similarly!! She had a raging sinus infection that would not respond to antibiotics and started having regular small seizures. She ended up having surgery to remove the infection about 6 months later, and she's been okay since.
She also did not have ordinary sinus infection symptoms - they were so blocked that the infection wasn't draining and the closeness to the brain triggered the seizures.

It is unlikely that sinusitis will cause seizures unless the infection has spread to his brain. If this were the case he would be very ill, with a high fever and would need immediate medical attention. Has he had a CT scan to rule out a tumor or abscess? He needs to get a diagnosis to explain the seizures so that he can begin treatment.

This sounds highly unlikely to me. Seizures are caused by rogue electricial firings in the brain..He should have an EEG, so set him up with a neurologist....
