How do you get rid of dark circles?!

Question: I get plenty of sleep, and I eat healthy foods that promote good skin. Yet the circles under my eyes still will not leave. They are so dark now that even make-up does not conceal it. Does anyone have usefull information about my problem?

I FEEL YOU. mine are inherited, due to the fact that i have porcelin skin which is very thin around my deep-set eyes. i have resolved this issue by simply using concealer every day under my eyeballs - neutrogena makes a good 3-n-1 concealer/SPF eye cream. be very careful to make sure you are using a product with sunblock on this area and/or wearing sunglasses regularly, since if you also have dark circles for no reason you are probably also fair-skinned with especially thin skin around the eyes.

another good makeup option is to use a light colored eye shadow on the inside corners of your eye lids -- it will make your eyes seem brighter and detract attention from your circles if they are still visible.

dermatologists can lighten this area of the skin in their offices, however i have heard this proceedure if very painful and costly. they can also prescribe you creams to apply on this area, but i personally haven't taken this step.
there are many over the counter lightening creams for natrual under-eye circles, but so far i have had no luck with them.

if you are eating healthfully and working out regularly, this will definately help. doing something to boost your circulation like jogging or swimming will also greatly improve your over-all skintone, which will make your circles look better, too. ALWAYS remember to get enough sleep of course, and to refrain from rubbing your eyes or using harsh products, as this will aggrivate the area. always be gentle with this skin and keep it well moisturized as it is very sensitive.

hope this helps!!

Drink more water
The dark circles as you call them Some people call them bags under the eyes

are a sign of slight dehydration
Think back how much water NOT POP did you drink in the last 24 hours. Or a drink that is 90% water fruit drinks tea sport drinks are okay

but still

WATER is the best

Are you dehydrated? Try drinking a quart of Gatorade for a few days.

Otherwise, it sounds like you need to have a physical exam by physician. If you are getting sleep and eat well, then the next thing to suspect is that you might have some diagnosable ailment.

Drink water!!!!!!! :)

They can be inherited and others just naturally have them, although it's not fair. Some eye creams with vitamin K can help.

i get dark circles too. I used to use MAC concealer but (my sister snagged mine last time she was here).. It is my favorite its thick and creamy and works the best! Now, I am forced to use store brands because the mac store is really far from my house.

But, if you have a mac near you I would recommend there concealer the little round compact about the roundness of a quarter. The mac techs will help you find the one that is right for your skin tone.
