I don't mean to be rude, but this "new" diagnosis of PCOS reminds me a lot of the 90's when Chronic Fatigue Syndrome came out. People who had truly been suffering from it for years were happy & hopeful that the "new" findings would help them...but it is so over diagnosed because doctors have just learned to give something a name to "please" their patient with a diagnosis & get money from the insurance company.

Yes---to answer your question. If you have true PCOS, you can be in pain on a daily basis. The cysts will typically cause a lot of pain, and they don't appear and disappear on a daily basis. They are there til they pop or are surgically removed. Some days the pain can be so severe it's hard to sit in a chair, stand, or lay down.

Research your condition. Know the facts. Don't get your info from wanna be sufferers or people who don't know what they are talking about. Ibuprofen helps the pain, have you tried that? LIMIT YOUR SUGAR INTAKE. PCOS can be an early indicator in women who later develop diabetes.

Good luck, and once again---please take the time to learn on your own about PCOS somewhere other than here.
