A real wart (not just a lump of something under the skin) is caused by a virus. The bad news is that it can contaminate other parts of your body or other people.

The good news is that the virus is aerobic (means that it needs air to survive). You can therefore get rid of warts (real ones) by covering them with clear glue or nail varnish. You literally stifle the virus. The glue and the varnish will eventually crack and let the air in again, so remove the old layer and put a new coat on the wart relatively frequently and in 2 to 3 weeks it should have disappeared.

The best of luck and have a nice day!

a wart is a viral infection caused by a certain papilloma virus.it will not cause any harm to, if infected by it, just go to any dermatologist becuase its quite bothersome.. it can be spread by a dirct droplet of blood from it..

she pull it off and it has not came back sens 14 November 2007

Generally they are harmless, just affect the appearance. Common and flat warts usually do not cause pain. However, they can be bothersome and can spread easily if they are in areas that are constantly irritated by rubbing or shaving. Visible warts can be embarrassing for some people. Plantar warts often cause pain, especially if they are located over bony areas of the foot.
