Make sure you don't have candida (thrush) or a B vitamin deficiency. If your house has excessively low levels of humidity then you might use a humidifier. Also, if you have the habit of biting or licking your lips this will lead to chapped lips. Good luck - GDP
vanicream. you can get it at pharmacies or health care stores. Longest lasting, not gross.
I never used to have chapped lips very much, only on occasion. My husband always puts lip balm on every night and then I started to, also. Now I find that my lips are chapped wayy more than ever before, so maybe try to stop using anything and see if it clears. If you keep them moisturized all of the time, odds are that they will dry out alot quicker.
Try vasiline. Or, break open a capsile of vitamin E and put the oil on your lips. If you go o bed, put a towel on your pillow so it doesn't go everywhere.
drink water.
it's your bodies way to tell you you're thirsty.
Here's my trick, at night I use bath and body lip gloss, it has vitamin E and aloe in it. When I wake up my lips are plump and smooth. And during the day, I use chapstick, but for you, try vaseline. PS: Drink lots of water.
your probably just dehydrated. make sure you srink as much water as possible and give it time to heal.
don't cover it with anything, let it get better naturally.
if you try to use too many products, you skin probably just can't take it
Origins Lip Remedy Soothing Lip Savers (buy it at macy's)
Although expensive at 11$ for a small tube its amazing!! Apply a very large amount, not just to your lips but basically all around them. It will sting for a few minutes due to your lips being chapped, but then it will be good. Apply MANY times a day. I used to get like these red marks below my lips 'cause they were so chapped but now they're not.
