Small ileocolic mesenteric nodes noted in CT?!

Question: A relative of mine had a abdo+ pelvis CT done and the above noted to 2.5mm in size were noted. Cancer may be one conclusion, as could chrons disease, anemia is noted. Any ideas what this could indicate

Your assumption is correct. Lymph nodes under one centimeter would not raise many concerns.

Possibly some sort of IBD (Inflammatory or Irritable Bowel Disorder).

Those are lymph nodes located in the mesentery, or the tissue that is in between and connects your intestines. Lymph nodes are normal and located all over thr body. 2.5mm is very small, and normal in size. Unless the report said they look abnormal, there is nothing to worry about.

well this can be early sign of cancer, just a few days ago I read a story about a person with similar symptoms.
