What are the chances that I have HIV?!

Question: I slept around at the first of July of 2007, and have been seeing someone who isn't positive since the 2nd week of June. I was tested in the 2nd week of October, and I was negative. Am I still probably negative since it had been over 3 months since I had been with other people unprotected?

We tell everyone that the window period is 3 months for HIV and it seems you are past that. My bigger question has your partner been tested? I work with way to many people that feel if their partner tests negative for HIV that they are automatically negative as well. Not always the case. So you both need to test negative and since you have been together since last summer, if you test and are both negative, then I will say you don't have to worry.

The chances are pretty good that you are not positive, however, in rare cases, it can take a person up to six months to develop antibodies. Retesting is a pretty good idea.

both of you need to get tested and just take it from there.

Girl, RAP IT UP!!!
