Sharp pain serious? What should I do?!

Question: I have been getting a sharp pain between my shoulder and my neck when I inhale. It doesn't hurt badly, but enough to be irritating. Also, the pulse on the right side of my neck is strong enough for me to feel it while just lying there breathing. This has been happening off and on for a long time (over a year). Now, I'm getting concerned. Anyone have any idea what this is all about? Thank you.

I can't say exactly what yours is, but I get those (trust me it is painful) and mine is anxiety attacks. You can get them without even knowing you have anxiety (without anxiety being present) that is what I have been told the many times I have been to the ER for it. I get them out of the blue. Like I said yours could be something different. You need to call the doctor. Hope you feel better.

might be a pinched nerve, the sciatic nerve runs down the side of the neck down the back and into the legs. could be a something has caused it to be pinched a bit try a chiropractor or your regular Dr. good luck

not sure; but if ur concerned enough to be asking us; u need to play it safe and see a doctor. I wish you the very best!! God Bless!!
