Answers: **** ALSO: Is it a inhaled corticosteroid.?

would say low i have emphysma and don't use that are you asmatic

Advair is a combination inhaler, containing salmeterol (Serevent) and fluticasone (Flovent). Salmeterol is considered a long-acting bronchodilator and is to be used regularly rather than when encountering symptoms. Fluticasone is a steroid, and is anti-inflammatory. I don't know the answer to the low/medium/high dose, as this inhaler only comes in one dose, as does both the individual drugs. Salmeterol has been implicated in increasing asthma death because patients cannot be further treated when in asthma attack. It has no anti-inflammatory action, so Advair is considered safer because it includes an anti-inflammatory drug.
