I'm all for educating kids about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. However, I can't see the governments policies will change much. Also, they are obsessed with smoking. What about drinking? This can harm others too. Nobody got in to a fight because they smoked- but very often do when drunk. The government has double standards on this I feel.

It's not going to stop any one buying cig's or stop people from smoking. Even making them illegal wouldn't stop them being purchased.

& if your a kid that wants to smoke, your gonna smoke whether you get em from a shop or you get em from your mates.
Having cigarettes on display doesnt make you want to smoke.. Being a smoker makes you want to smoke.
smoking or drinking - if you want it, you'll get it. No one advertises weed but its all over the place, so yeh i agree its not gonna change anything. waste of government money sorting it all out.

Never in a million years. The only way to stop kids smoking is to make it an offence punishable by public beatings. Yes, I KNOW that's wrong, but can the do-gooders come up with something better THAT WILL ACTUALLY WORK..........

most probably ... people are diffrent , and ive ehared once you are a heavy smoker and become addicted its waaay harder to stop.
