How do you stop excissive sweating?!

Question: alright so heres my story, i started excessive sweating in 8th grade id say, so last year. And its COMPLETELY embarassing, to the point that i have to be excused from class just to go to the washroom and lift my arms up for a few minutes, or even re apply deoderent. I think that i might have hyperhidrosis, and my sister sweats like me to. And it makes you feel really uncomfortable, you feel so insecure, like everyones laughing at you. I had a teacher with exessive sweating and everyone would laugh. I can only imagine what they say behind my back. Anywho, if anyone out there knows any simple ways to get rid of these underarm puddles, without the botox, or any type of surgery, please let me know.
I am going to try the water thing though. & i know many people have posted this question, so please. HELP !
thanks so much.

i can really relate to your problem. i started excessive sweating in the 5th or 6th grade. soo embarrassing. i never told anybody, not even my mom. so i started doing research on it and saw that the only answer was botox, but that was really expensive. so i started seeing commercials of a deoderant called "certain-dri" and i actually tried it. im not the kind of person that just buys things because others say they work, so for me to go out and buy this was actually a big deal. so i bought it and it really works, i use to sweat soo much i wore black shirts everyday so no one could see the sweat marks. but this deoderant they sell it at target, walgreens, wal-mart, cvs, rite aid. and stores like that. it only costs about 6 or 7 dollars. it really really works & i thought my problem was never to be "cured". & for it to work a lot better you should buy certain dri & certain dri a.m.

I have this same problem, but it's with my hands. I'll be checking this question to for my own problem! Good luck to you!

I had the SAME problem. I would have like disgusting pit stains by like first period...yes I know...EW. After trying Secret Clinical Strenght, Degree, Dove, and Secret, I was gonna give up 'cause I was still sweating like crazy! Then I discovered two miracles called CertainDri and a pink tube of deodorant called Lady's Choice. Apply CertainDri before bed and lift ur arms for like 30 seconds to let it dry. Then go to bed and then before you put your shirt on in the morning, put on a fair amount (not too much) of the Lady's Choice. Then spray a small amount of perfume, incase the Lady's Choice doesn't stop the smell (which it usually does). Put on a shirt and GO TO SCHOOL!!!! You might continue sweating for the first couple of days, but it will get better. I bought both products at CVS at a total of 7 dollars! It is a miracle. In 7th grade I used to sweat like crazy and I had to carefully choose the shirts I wore. But now, I pick any shirt I want and I come home completely stain-free. I was amazed!! Hope it helped :)
