Any idea how to get rid of cuts on fingers that just won't heal?!

Question: My friend has cuts on her fingers that won't close up and heal. They have been there for about 3 weeks. They are painful for her and sometimes start bleeding again. They are just little slits that one may get from dry skin, but 100 times worse. She does have Diabetes and Crohn's disease, didn't know if that would have any bearing or not. TIA for any advice.

Diabetics always heal slower than normal people, Yes, it does have a bearing.

Get some Udder Butter or some Corona Ointment and use it for the dry skin and healing of the cuts.

Both were developed eons ago for the dairy industry for use on cows teats, but are marvelous for healing our hands and feet. The Udder Butter smells a bit better than the Corona Ointment.

Can find both in most drug stores, and can find it in Quilt shops!!! Quilters friend it is indeed!!!

She should use it on her feet as well as hands!! I do and have nice soft feet and hands without those nasty dry cracks.

she might super glue them- i think you can actually buy dermabond at drug stores now- its skin glue, or use super glue either way. i think she should consult her doctor before doing anything since diabetics are at a high risk for infections.

Yes, she needs to call her doctor. Wounds not healing are serious for diabetics.
