Pimple like growth of bone on my wrist?!

Question: I have a small bump on my left wrist bone that looks like a bug bite but if you feel it it's under my skin. It doesn't hurt me, and if I press it pretty hard it hurts a tiny bit. It's been there for like the last 2 weeks and has gotten a tiny bit bigger. From what i've heard this isn't really serious, and it's not carpal tunnel syndrome or anything. I... don't think at least. Sounds like it could be a ganglion cyst. It's actually not all that uncommon to have one grow on your wrist - it is relatively painless to the touch and just feels like a bump/lump under the skin. The majority are non-cancerous so you probably have little to worry about from a health standpoint.

If it is bothersome or begins to grow larger you may want to consider having it removed. There are several methods that your doctor may use including draining the fluid from it with a needle, surgical removal, or even smashing it to cause it to rupture and drain on it's own.

It could be a calcium deposit or arthritis. Eating fresh pineapple will break down a calcium deposit. If that doesn't help, see a doctor. A wrist x-ray will be required.

Could be a ganglion cyst. Could be a skin boil. I had a cyst on my wrist some years ago. Tho not serious or life threatening, they can cause some discomfort. I had to eventually have it removed and it's good I did because sometimes where there is one cyst, there are smaller ones also that you can't see or feel. It was nothing major, it done under local which was a great feeling haha. The worse part was having to wear a cast for a couple of weeks. Here's some good info on both a cyst and a boil.
