By sharing bath soap?!

Question: STDs?

Answers: STDs?

there are lots of germs on bath soap (a 'bar') so better use liquid soap in a pump.

highly unlikely that sexually transmitted diseases (std's) are transmitted other than by having unprotected sex.

there is more of a science behind how these diseases are transmitted that most pamplets don't go into because it's pretty boring and not easy to explain on a tri-fold pamplet.

The point is, no. Bath soap is not a means of transportation. I remember when people were scared of sleeping in the same bed as an HIV+ person. because the sheets could spread the virus if the HIV+ person leaked any fluids on the sheets and another person had contact with those fluids. Look, frankly, there is a .00001% chance of transmission. But quite frankly, the odds of dying in your car on the way to work are much higher. Stop living in fear. swith to the liquid soap if you'd like, but if you don't stopliving in this fear of catching your partners STD than that fear will control you. However this does not mean to not take precautions. Read up on the topic as much as you can and talk to your doctor about it. I encourage you to do this not only for yourself but for the person you care for that is already a victim of this STD.
