Yes, smoking can actually cause acne. I have heard doctors say it multiple times, I have even dated a girl once who use to break out in bad acne on her back and some on her face when she smoked. As was stated by another person smoking does clog the pores and cause acne.

No you are safe....smoking only causes lung cancer.

Smoke clogs the pores, so the answer is yes.

not really acne as much as...death

Please, Don't start smoking! It is one of the hardest addictions to kick. Every single person in the cancer ward who is sucking smoke through a hole in their throat started with one cigarette.

smoking causes everything including acne

Masturbation causes acne. Smoking is pathetic, you fool.

Yes,
smoking can cause acne.

It also causes other things like,
LUNG CANCER.

Best bet is, uh don't smoke.

That's the dumbest thing.

If your skin is sensitive it can. Somethings effect different people differently. Its a possibility.

It can do all sorts of nasties!

yes. ur ruining ur complexion.

Smoking does everything bad. Don't do it.

im guessing since smokin is damaging ur lungs and every part. also acne is casued by dirt and other disgusting things so i guess the dirt from smoking cigarettes are getting stuck in ur pores thus causing acne breakouts.

Smoking causes alot including acne. I would quit and use face wash. Proactive works.

Smoking is terrible.. it's looks nasty and you smell bad. There's no point in it and you're better for not doing it.

Yes, it can. Being a teenager that smokes one a week. Let me advise you to stop... It is disgusting habit that is only getting more expensive.

Yea because there is smoke right by your face it sticks then you get your pores clogged.... Which is acne

Dont smoke its not worth it. I have had lots of family members die because they smoked.

I have quit for 5 months and i really feel better, you should stop all together because i think that you have more than acne to worry about hun.x

yes it can and, more importantly, smoking will have a significant impact on your skin. it will artificially age your skin and will even change the color of your skin.

cigarettes are really bad for the skin... but yet you are not really smoking enough for it to be the problem with your acne, ( you should not be smoking and stop while it's easy to do so)

the acne problem would have more to do what what you eat... if you have had a lot of meat, hamburger with ketchup, fries, things like this, all this fat has to come out somewhere . If you want a nice skin, you will have to eat better and wash your face 4 times a day with mild soap.. on evening, put a warm wet towel on your face to loosen up the skin so that the fat can come out and the bacteria with it..

ho I've just realized you were a girl, did you knew that smoking and taking the "no baby" pill at the same time can give you a nasty cancer ?

It most certainly doesn't do the skin any good. Nicotine and Tars build up in your body blocking air, and blood flow. This could effect the skin. Long time smokers have been known to have a yellowish skin color. It's a bad habit that really has no good effect. Quit now and be healthy.

Quit Smoking!!! Its the hardest thing in the world to give up!!

Smoking does not cause acne directly but indirectly. Better stop :)
