Question: uhmm okay. so ive been hanging out with this realli hot guy. hes realli sweet but sometimes hes does something that makes me mad but then he always knows how to make me unmad. haha. sooo sweet ;] but then like ppl keep telling me not to hangout with him because idk. so today i found out that he has STDS cos like my friends told me. so i freaked out. but i didnt do anything with him so it was okay. but idk. i know that i should stay away from him but i cant resist. he is too cute. so what should i do?

Ok lots, if not most STD's can be cured with antibiotics..STD doesn't mean deadly disease neccesarily..

You sound very young and maybe like ur not ready for all this..I think you both need to be checked before u guys are sexually active (even if ur not with this guy you need to be checked if you have sex with anyone anal,oral,or otherwise)
You need to discuss this with this guy before you just drop him because of some rumor..and if you can't..u shouldn't be together anyways..

Being just strictly friends with the guy would be okay you know just hanging out having fun, but dont do anything sexually with him because remember you cant get rid of STDS so, do you want to get a disease you will have to deal with for the rest of your life and have a chance to pass it on to your children or just have a friend that has STDS and just be a friend for him. Be safe and dont do anything with him and dont put yourself into a situations where you could possibly do something like that. Its not worth it. Just stay strictly friends.

you know he has an STD because your friends told you? Since when are friends a reliable source of info on this kinda thing? Have you at least asked him? Maybe it's just a nasty rumour going around school. Maybe he had something like chlamydia which is totally curable. I would at least talk to him about it before you write him off for good. And just to be on the safe side, if he says it's untrue and you stay with him; both of you should go and get tested before you start any sexual activity, this is something everyone should do!
first of all find out directly by asking him, and then maybe talk about it to him? im sure youre not gonna get married to him or anything, so just be careful. do what you want to do, but nothing youll regret.
Ask yourself the following:
1. Is he someone you can foresee having a long term relationship with? If so, would you let an STD get in the way of what could be a beautiful friendship and relationship?
2. What is the STD that he has? Have you educated yourself on the virus and the ways in which you can minimise the risk of contracting the virus?
