I've just vomited 3 times this evening. It started after lunch today.?!

Sounds like a virus. Make sure to drink plenty of clear fluids (sip them slowly) to prevent dehydration. After you haven't vomited for about 4 hours try some bland food... crackers, dry toast, etc. I just had a stomach virus last week and it was awful! If you are vomiting too frequently to keep fluids down, you may need to call your doctor to get something to stop the vomiting. Hope you feel better soon!
Sounds very much like food poisoning. If it is you should be better in a day or two. If it isn't, then you probably have a more serious infection, such as e-coli. Unless you have been to a third world country in the past month, it isn't anything serious and can be taken care of. Make sure you are getting enough fluids. If you aren't better after two days, your fever spikes or you get a lot worse, go see a doctor and they will give you some meds, maybe pump you full of saline so you don't dehydrate, and you will be better in a week or so. But I suspect it is just food poisoning (did you eat out in the last two days?), in which case it will probably take care of itself.
