Unexplained bruises?!
Question: i keep getting unexplained bruises all over my arms and hands loads together and they are sore. I haven't banged them against anything , no idea why they appeared. Does it mean i am lacking iron or something?

Go to the doctor and have your Iron tested... It's a good possibility that this is what's causing you to bruise..
If you try the over the counter iron pills be careful... Even if your iron is low sometimes the body can't tolorate iron pills..
Eat more iron enriched veggies like spinich..

Get checked for Diabetes as well because that could cause unexplained bruising as well..
This really sounds like a question for a doctor.....if it weere only on the arms, maybe legs...but on the hands too? If you live in Ontario you can call telehealth. Goodluck
This may be a clotting problem especially if you have prolonged bleeding from small cuts or excessive menses. For normal clotting you need normally functioning noninflammed capillaries, adequate normally functioning platelets and normal quantities of clotting proteins. Iron doesn't enter into it. All of the above can be checked with simple blood tests.
