Anyone with vast info on skin cancer please give advice about a mole...?!

Question: Unfortunately I am one of the many American's without health insurance at this time, and thanks to our economy, I am pretty broke too. Thus I really don't want to go to a doctor unless I really have to. I have a lot of moles on my body. Recently one on my back has been itching very bad, all the TIME! My husband has been watching it for me, he says for all he can remember, it has not changed in shape, size or symmetry. It still looks like it always has. We have compared it to pictures on the web and it looks fine. So the only issue is the constant itching. Should I worry? Should I go ahead and go to the dr? All my other moles are fine.

COLOR !!!!!!!!!!
IS WHAT MY DERMATOLOGIST was looking for.

I Took digital pictures periodically which I emailed to him he compared them to earlier photos----this turned into such a nuissance that I agreed to have him remove it---I do have insurance.

Any photos shoud show a ruller adjacent for accurate size comparison over time.

Photos should obviously be taken in the identical light/camera setting every time also.

If you have a photo you can make the comparison yourself with on-line sources or via some clinic.

Good luck

I'm not a doctor so take my advice with a grain of salt. but I have had several moles removed over the years and I remember that one itched like that. The dermatologist said that a mole can itch like any other skin so I used an over the counter anti itch cream and that helped. But I do recommend you see someone even if you have to go to one of those public clinics for that.
