Constant nausea and tiredness?!

Question: I have been experiencing lower back pain and discomfort in my neck and shoulders (poss stress, long periods on computer?). Went to see doc re back pain and he tested urine and found white blood cells and small amount of blood. Gave me Trimethoprim which has helped a little although I am still getting some discomfort mostly on waking. I finished to pills on Monday and two days into taking them started to feel nauseous. I have now felt nauseous since tuesday and today it's probably the worst it's been. I am tired a lot - probably as I am not sleeping too well but even if I think I have had a good night I can still feel tired. I admit that I am very anxious about my health at the moment and spend ages trawling the internet for symptoms. I am seeing a Dr this morning but wondered if anyone else could help?

dont jump to conclusions. searching the internet for symptoms only hightens your fear. stress could be apart of your problem.

just wait and see what the doctor says and try and resist the internet (nausea and tiredness can be a symptom of many illnesses)

good luck

fingers crossed its not but they sound like signs of leukaemia...

Hi,untill your doctor finds out & tells you what is wrong you will
be worried. When you see him this morning tell him how the pills are affecting you.You will be stressed out & that makes you tired.Good Luck at the doctor will be thinking about you.

If you have an infection in your bladder or kidneys, then it can make you feel really ill. I had a kidney infection when pregnant with my first child and felt like I was dying! My temp was up and down like a yoyo and I was sick as a pig. But, anti biotics can also make you feel ill, so not really sure which is causing your symptoms. Could be a bit of both. Hopefully, your doc will be able to advise you on how long this is going to take to clear up. Hope you feel better soon xxxx

I think it's stress.Your mind is a very powerful thing.I think i suffer from anxiety and i get a really bad pain in my side.I've had it off and on for years.I also get nausea and other aches and pains along with headaches. You may be all tensed up without realising it.Doctors will always try to treat the physical symptoms first before making you feel a complete loser and suggesting it may be stress. If you think there might be something seriously wrong with you then the stress isn't gonna go away. You're best to research anxiety first as this often makes you feel instantly better. On the other hand if you have a nasty bladder infection then this can give you flu-like symptoms. Some bladder infections take more than one dose or anti-biotics to clear up.
