because of the high-blood pressure that goes up and down in your brain, specially on your occipital lobe. so no, if you close your eyes it might not work, it depends on how long it lasts. (that meaning how long your high blood pressure symptom lasts)

yeah, it can work, but its gonna come back because diabetes is a permanent disease.

are you looking for an answer because i already gave it to you, or do you just want a lot of answers?

If you are retaining water or drink a large amount of water your body can not get rid of it fast of enough. As a result the quantity of fluid in your eye increases to the point of changing it's focal point. This is enough to change or blur your vision. As you gain control of condition your eyes will return to their original form. This is not bad in the long run.

However, if your blood glucose is very high for long period of time the blood vessels in the back of your eye fail and result in loss of sight. If you have your eye examined the laser photo will show black spot where the damage is. Slowly if nothing is corrected you will loose all eye sight.

Hope this helps.

Best Wishes.

Blurred vision is from erratic blood sugar levels in diabetics. It doesn't go away with a blink of an eye.

Blurred vision is a side effect of having your blood sugar out of control. Also you vision will tend to get dimmer because your retinas are being damaged.

You must get your blood sugar under contol now. You must check it 4 or 5 times a day without fail. Keep a log book and watch your averages. Adjust diet excersize and meds to attain as near perfect ( 100') as you can get.

You may need to go to your doctor for adjustments in diet and meds. Every hour that goes by with excessively high blood sugar, damage is being done. The damage can take 3 months to forever to heal. Control of sugar levels is life and death important, literally.
