Do I have strep throat?..?!
Question: i'm not sure if i have strep throat or not i've been sick yesterday and today. yesterday i had a fever, back hurts, and i had a head ache. My mom says on back of my throat and it has puss on it...can some plz help before i go to the doctor today....thanks

It sounds typical for strep throat. You will get penicillin and be fine in a few days.
strep' throat can only be diagnosed by swabbing your throat and sending it to the lab.
it sounds like you have an infection there.
whether it is streptococcus or another bacterium, it is not important.
important is that you rest well, drink lots of water, eat healthily (take vit c supplements) and get well soon.
go see your doc and see what he/she says.

the sypmtoms of strep for older kids and adults is:
-sudden, severe sore throat.
-swollen glands in throat
-high fever (102 degrees or higher)
-white coating on tonsils
so yeah what you have sounds alot like it. here what to do:
-get rest, drink liquids, and eat foods that won't irritate a raw throat (such as soup,something soft...but no acidic stuff)
-children 3 and older, gargling with warm salt water can ease discomfort.
-if antibiotics are prescribed, take them all even if alll syptoms have disappeared.
