Why do people have allergies?!

Question: It involves the immune system. But, the most important reason some people develop allergies and some don't is thought to be heredity. Preventing exposure in early life seems to decrease the risk of allergies. However new research indicates that exposure to dogs in early life seems to enhance the development of the immune system, thus decreasing the risk the child will develop allergies.

People sometimes tell me they never had allergy symptoms until they moved to a new area. Moving to a new area may seem to trigger the immune response, but authorities believe these people already had hereditary tendency toward allergies.

The role of the immune system involves production of IgE which is sometimes called 'the allergic antibody.' This is fascinating to study. Click here to learn more!

It's your immune system on the attack. For some reason, it thinks there is a danger. Our bodies aren't perfect.

Because each persons body is designed differently. They egest or respire something and it has a bad effect on their body's biochemical stability. Some people are equipt with antibodies and such to combat foreign substances, but some ppl lack those defensive mechanisms that counteract the offset of these foreign materials.

An allergy is an over reaction of the immune system. Someone eats something they are allergic to, i.e a nut, and their brain goes "aaaahhhhhh, attack!!!" but because there isn't actually anything to fight, their body goes 'what the hell?' and then you have an anaphalactic shock.

It is because the immune system is faulty. It is in a constant state of arousal and reacts to things that aren't really a threat....some people are more prone to this than others.

My son suffers from a severe allergy to nuts and also suffers from asthma and eczema which are also linked to a fault with the autoimmune system.

There are bones inside your sinus cavity that filter out small particles. When these tiny bones-which are spongy- swell, they cannot filter as efficiently so, more allergens get through and cause sneezing and so forth.

Because they post ridiculous pictures of themselves and their bodys become repulsed by it

Because their parents wrapped them up in cotton wool when they were babies.
