Stinging after sex?!

Question: Ok, I am worried for my girlfriend, we have recently had sex. Afterwords she said that the lower part of the lips of her vagina stung when she touched it, so I looked at it, and I am pretty sure theres a little tear or something like a paper cut there that is opening up and stinging. I am really paranoid about std's and I was just wondering if its possibly an std, or is something like that a symptom of an std. This is isnt the first time we have had sex, the first time was 2 months ago and nothing showed up until right after we had sex this time, so I am pretty sure its not an std, I am just looking for a little reassurance. Any help would be great.

Those are called microtears and they happen because of the action/motion/friction of the intercourse. She may be small, you may be large or last a long time, or she may not be sufficiently lubricated. It stings because they are like tiny cuts in a sensitive location. They heal quickly.

Could be a yeast infection that you are spreading back and forth! Yes guys get them too! also if she shaves it it can irritate both of you..

Don't worry about it. Even though you two have had sex before, it is possible for small injuries to occur in girls. The cut you describe sounds like a micro-tear and it just stings from being exposed to the air, sex fluids, and/or from when she pees. Many times girls don't feel it happen, it just hurts afterward.

Condoms are ideal, but you should still at least be using birth control. Good luck.

This sounds like a yeast infection, a trip to your doctor and her doctor should clear that up, I also know that a urinary tract infection will cause a man to have "discharge", I don't think you have anything to worry about........but a trip to both your doctors is definately in order!!! ALL MY HOPES!!!

It could be nothing, but just an irritation. But to rest assure for the both of you, go to any health clinic and get scrrened for all STD's and HIV test. That way it will answer any questions or doubt about the risk.
