Treating Psoriasis?!

Question: Despite having Psoriasis for most of my life, more often than not it has never been a huge problem for me.
However, the older I get, the worse it seems the condition is getting. I've used topical steroid lotions and moisterisers but with no real long term improvement shown.
Anyone Have any ideas on alternative treatments, cures?

Cut milk and dairy products out of your diet completely ....have you tried using aloe Vera juice straight from the plant? Invest in a decent sized plant....break a piece off and let the juice run onto the sore dry bits...you have to do it several time a day.....depends on how severe it is...you could try making up a mixture of marigold leaves (Old English marigolds not the French variety) Crush the marigold leaves in a mortar and pestle really mash them up.....mix this with some e40 cream...or something to bind it(non perfumed cream)......it is messy...cover with gauze or some such stuff as it will make a mess of your clothes....need to do it twice a day.....make up a decent batch and keep in fridge...will keep for a couple of weeks.
Hope that this helps....

Oatmeal baths apparently are quite good.

I've suffered most of my life too but I've only had one serious guttate attack in recent years, which cleared up as soon as I started taking salt baths. But everyone is different - what works for me may be useless for you. UV helps me too. I'd suggest you try the salt baths though - they're cheap and what have you got to lose?

I have a friend who has had it most of her life and believe this or not she started using Vikcs rub, and I saw her arms where she had it and they were completely healed. i don't know how long she used it, but I know it wasn't long, but she told me this is the best her skin has been in years. Good Luck.

My father, unfortunately has had this condition for quite sometime and nothing has seemed to help until recently. Go to Walmart and purchase this stuff called Olive Butter. It makes the flaking not so bad. Another thing to do is take Fish Oil pills, you also can get this from Walmart. Ask any pharmicist if they have any also because the pharmacist grade is supposedly more potent (in a good way). Good luck!!

My daughter in law had it really bad for years. At one point it went really bad all over her body.... She went to the hospital to see a specialist and they gave her "Debrobate" to wash in, then "Dovobet" oil to apply. Now you can hardly see it.. I don't know if it will work on you though, everyone is different to reaction of medication. I don't think you can get it on prescription, but try......

Hello there. I had great results from Champori herbal anti-psoriasis cream/spray combo: my patches (elbows, knees and scalp) cleared almost completely after just few weeks of treatment and I haven't had a flare up for more than a year now.
Try it: it comes with money back guarantee so there is nothing to lose.
Best,
Bernadette
