Would i get rabies and/or any other disease's if i ate a gray squirrel?!


Question: i was just wondering if you could get rabies from eating wild squirrels....im pretty sure you can,(ive been eating them since grey squirrel season started...doh -_-) and also, could i catch the squirrel and test it at a vet for free? or is it $100's -_-? im juuust wondering, no need to rush any answers.

Cooking meat kills all pathogens, as long at it reaches 165 degrees Farenhieit. No bacteria or virus can live in meat at that temperature....
By the way, find a recipe for squirrel dumplings.... my dad used to make them... their are de-licious! And don't worry, gray squirrels aren't really notorious for carrying rabies.... just stay away from raccoons. Muy dad says they aren't much count anyways.
