I feel Embarresed HELP????!
Question: I am a pre teen with hairy arms. By father has hairy arms so maybe I got the gene. I feel so embarresed because when I talk to my friends it feels like they are staring at my arms. I have hid them for a long time by wearing sweaters and things with long sleeves. But the weather is getting warmer and I will have to start wearing T-Shirts soon. So people will be able to see my arms. And they are hairy too hairy for a pre teen. what should I do??? I asked my mom if I could shave them she said no and not to talk about it. And I have this friend whos a girl who I like and am planning to ask her out soon and if she sees my arms.......... PLZ help! Who ever helps will deserve to level up!!!

I think your hairy arms sound fascinating! If you were a girl, then I could understand people freaking. If people are staring, they're probably jealous because they don't have much hair yet. I understand how you feel, but in a few years, it won't be an issue. Again, if you ask a close friend why people stare, you might find they are just curious and jealous you are so mature for your age!
If you shave them, it will look strange you have no hair! Perhaps you could use some hair-thinning scissors on them to make the hair less thick without removing all of it. You can buy those scissors at a beauty supply store. Good luck.
You can try Nair instead of shaving so the hair doesn't grow back stubbly. If you shave, it wont grow back thicker, but it will appear that way because you shave near the shaft where it's thicker.
You may want to consider laser treatment when your a little older (or now if your mom allows it). That's a permanent fix.

if it really bothers you that much, just shave them, lots of girls do that. but it's really not worth it because it will get annoying to shave them all the time. it's not a big deal everyone's got stuff that they don't like about themselves. if you don't let your hairy arms bother you, then they won't bother anyone else either.
You can also bleach the hairs so they aren't as prevalent.

I was reading this question and thought it was a girl asking the whole time! No, you shouldn't shave your arms, its ok for a guy to have hairy arms. They are probably staring cuz they are jealous that they still look like little boys...
If you are really and truly embarrassed by it, you can try *trimming* them with clippers, but I would not suggest shaving them -- your arms will be come "prickly" (like facial hair stubble), and it will grow back. There's really no need to worry about this unless your arm hair is more than a half inch or an inch long. You're really probably over-estimating the issue. You have just developed arm hair before your peers, which will make you seem more mature. Personally, you should be proud of what makes you different -- and unique. After all, this is not some kind of disfigurement or deformity, it's just arm hair. Wear it with dignity -- you will find that some girls will find it attractive because it sets you apart from the others.
