What is happening to me!?!

Question: I have been diagnosed with alopecia (4 yr ago), a bulging disk (1 yr ago); unexplained breathing problems (1 yr ago); hormone problems (9 months ago); hypothyroidism (6 months ago); and now migraines. In less than 2 years, I went from being a happy and healthy person to a walking disaster. I can't help but to wonder if all this is connected some why, but my doctor doesn't think so. Has anyone got any great ideas? I want my old life back.

The hormone problems (including the thyroid problem) could be responsible for the migraines and the alopecia and even the unexplained breathing problems. The bulging disc doesn't seem related to any of the others. Your doctor should be treating you for the hormonal imbalances with medications. Once you are on the right medication and the right dosage for your body, which could take a while, you should start feeling a little more like yourself.

perhaps a hormone imbalance.

How is your lifestyle? Are you making sure to keep it healthy?

Being able to stay healthy may sometimes stem back to having a healthy diet, getting enough sleep at night, smoking, drinking (too much), excessive amounts of stress, etc.

Evaluate these things just to have the piece of mind that you are doing everything in your power to be healthy.

your thyroid sounds like its a big factor in all these problems.

You never mentioned your age, but it might not matter....although it could. Doctors don't know everything, but I'm guessing that there is something in your environment making you sick. Lead paint in your home could be a culprit. Asbestos maybe? It could also be something in the air, water or in the food you've bought. OR it could be related to your diet. You might need to change the types of foods you eat, especially if you're not getting enough vitamins from natural sources.

In my opinion, it might be reasonable to expect some of those conditions to pop up over time. It happens to all of us sooner or later, it seems. However, within a space of a few years, that's a lot of conditions to have pop up. Some of them (not all) could be blamed on environmental conditions. Have your water analyzed if you can, get a second opinion from a doc at a different clinic or hospital and look into changing your diet. Good foods to eat and boost your immunity are strawberries, sweet potatoes (not candied), tomatoes, salmon (wild), pomegranates, kiwi, flax seed products, apples (fresh), broccoli sprouts and shitake mushrooms are supposed to be great. Also, detox with green tea when you can as well as look into other (SAFE) ways to detox your body. There are supposed to be foot pads that help do this, but I don't know if they work or not because I haven't been able to try them out. If you can get them, it couldn't hurt to try them since they go on the feet and not in the body.

For your migraines, try using lavender scents and lotions and massaging your temples when it begins.

I'm not a doc, but I do know that much of what you have can be treated. Work really hard to do what you can for these things and consider my suggestions to help reduce and/or halt future complications as you get a second opinion.

Good luck. I hope this helps. Get well soon.

ill pray for you =]
