Thats because you have iron in your blood. Thats what makes it red. Iron is what bonds to the oxygen and carries it all through your body.

Because blood contains Iron :)

good qestion!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blood contains a lot of iron.

well u do have iron in your blodd so maybe thats it :D

because theres iron in your blood.....

Means you have too much iron in your body, and it just runs into your blood stream. My godfather had so much iron in his body for some reason his blood was bright red. Like Idk if you've ever seen, but a Red Nintendo Game boy SP. and then some brightness. so idk what to tell you. I know why, but not how to fix. look into a liver detox.

YOUR IRON MAN!!!!!!!

Blood has iron in it.

The red color of blood is caused by the iron in it oxidizing when it is expose to the air (Oxygen)

Cool Fact: Trilobites and Horsecrabs have blue blood because it is copper not iron in there blood...

it really contains iron whch gives its red color...

Darling if you don't have iron you wouldn't have healthy blood. Iron is the nutrient in blood that keeps it pumping properly. I can't believe you said you didn't know you had that much. Blood is all through the body and iron is in it. You can get pretty sick if you didn't have enough. Just be happy you do and don't worry it's absolutely normal, it's suppose to be in your blood. I would be worried when it's not.
