What kind of syndrome's are associated with cleft lip / pallet ???!
Question: have been told by some people that there are syndrome's that one thing a child can have is cleft with these syndrome's can't find any info to this affect Thanks for any info in regards to cleft.

Cleft lip/palate is a part of more than 400 syndromes including Waardenburg, Pierre Robin, and Down syndromes. Approximately 30 percent of cleft deformities are associated with a syndrome, so seek out the help of a geneticist.

Cleft Pallet is when the pallet doesn't grow/come together at birth. Surgery is require to put the two sides together.
May be work on the teeth further down the road.
