I have some Cephalexin 500mg/Kflex?!

Question: I have had a cold/sinus, Now it has gone to my chest. I have deep congestion for days now. I have enough of the antibotic
for a week. The Cephalexin has been in the cab. for 2 or 3 years. Will it work or should I get new from Doc.
