Bloody Stool?!
Question: My husband has had 3 blood stools today. All 3 hurt when he goes to the bathroom. He waited til now to tell me about it, so i figured the best way to get an answer is from here. Please, if there are any Drs on or if you have had similar things, answer. Also, I saw it, and it was not just a little bit. The whole toliet bowl was red from it, and the water was so murky, (and red,) that you can't see through it.

May only be hemorrhoids, but please get him to the doctor quickly before he gets anemic. Plus if it is something serious, the quicker he is treated the better!
food poisioning...if he starts to vomit seek medical attention right away...Make sure he has plenty of liquids near him at all times...dehydration will occur
It could be as simple as a hemorrhoid. Men get these more often than women, although women can get them too. He should probably get checked out by a doctor to be sure that's all it is and not something more serious going on in his digestive system. Good luck.
could be a lot of things internal bleeding..perforated bowel ..hemroids..to name a few ...if its bright red its fresh blood if it dark its old blood ... he should see his doc right away

That happened to my daughter a few years ago ... in her case, it was a ruptured polyp in her colon. She didn't have any previous signs or symptoms, it just suddenly ruptured.
She ended up needing a blood transfusion ... very scary ... and surgery. I have no idea whether it's the same thing with your husband, but blood ALWAYS means emergency room, and please don't wait.
bloody stool and rectal bleeding are different. if you see blood, in the toilet or when you wipe, it's more than likely rectal bleeding from any number of different things.
bloody stool looks like coffee grounds. exactly life coffee grounds.
