i kno how to hep burns trust me u can take a shower with lotion and sugar together and rub i all over it calms ur skin and fells good to ! amen

this may sound gross or whatever but vinegar works really well i usually pour white vinegar in the tub of bath water not hot water luck warm it takes the sting out

Here's a great home-made recipe that's sure to help!

1 cup of aloe vera (you can cut off a leaf, cut it open, and get the fruit, or buy it at a supermarket)

3 tbs vinegar (any kind)

2 tbs moisturizer

2 tbs burn relief *optional

Put everything in a plastic bowl and beat with a fork like you would with a bowl of eggs. If you don't have aloe vera, you can buy some or use anything with alot of aloe vera in it. After mixing, apply to the sunburned area and repeat every hour or as desired. This recipe will relieve the burn INSTANTLY, and your skin will be renewed and silky smooth.

Here's some products to try in this recipe;

*Home grown aloe vera, or any brand from Publix.
*Publix brand white distilled vinegar.
*Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Cool Blue Burn Relief.
*Publix brand Smooth Moisture Moisturizer.
(The reason Publix brand is great is because it's cheap price wise but works better than most other products, and it doesn't use all the harsh and foreign chemicals that other products do.

Next time, it's best to apply alot of sunscreen. The more sunburned you are, the greater the risk of skin cancer and other diseases.

Taking two Aspirins every four hours will relieve redness, blisters, and pain. But if you decide to take them, bare in mind that the more medicine you take when you are young, the more you will have to take when you are older.

Avoid taking warm showers or baths. The last thing you need is more heat, and the water will sting. Stay indoors as much as you can and take cool baths, not showers. The pressure of showers can damage your burnt skin.

Bathing in cold milk sounds weird, but it's an old secret that really does help. Just pour a couple gallons of grade A milk in the bathtub and sit in it for a while.

Here's something else you can try;
Take regular oatmeal, mash it up, and put it in the refrigerator for 30 min to 1 h. It will be pretty cold, but apply it to your burnt skin and allow it to soak in for about 15 min.

*Don't overdue any moisturizers. Putting too much can damage your skin, but be sure to put some on in the mornings and evenings for a few days to stay moisturized, and drink plenty of cold water to stay hydrated.

* If you feel sort of sick and your sunburn is really bad, you should see a doctor. It's pretty rare, but experiencing dizziness, nausea, or anything of the sort can mean you are really sick. Sunburns should be taken seriously. You have to be really careful at the beach and anywhere else.
